The Shining (****) Blu-Ray

Just got the Blu-ray of the film and it's amazing. One of my favorite films. If you haven't seen it check it out. As for the people that state the book is better and the film isn't the book. I don't care this is one of Kubrick's masterpieces.

No Country for Old Men (****) In Theatres

The Coen bros are such interesting directors. They have made many neo noir movies and most of the their movies are throwbacks to the classic hollywood genres. This is there western film and boy did they nail it out of the park. I love the different guns in the film that are western staples. I really enjoyed how Sugar treated his wound and how the bounty hunters act throughout the film. This is my favorite movie of the year and maybe my favorite Coen Bros film.

Rashomon (***) In School

We watched this in school today, i had seen the film a few times , but it was nice to watch it on the big screen.
